Since its first establishment, PT. BPR Varia Centralartha has always prioritized quality and the best service for all customers.

Nomenclature Change

Change of name from Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) to Bank Perekonomian Rakyat (BPR). This name change is in accordance with Law (UU) No. 4 of 2023 concerning Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (UU PPSK).
The purpose of this name change is to enhance the role of BPR as a driver of the community's economic wheel, especially the lower middle class. BPR is expected to become a strong financial institution and increase public trust.
BPR business activities include collecting funds from the public, channeling funds in the form of credit, conducting fund transfer activities, placing funds in other banks, conducting foreign exchange activities, making capital participation in BPR supporting institutions, cooperating with other LJK, conducting receivables transfer activities, and conducting other activities with the approval of the Financial Services Authority.
The name change from BPR to BPR is expected to help BPR develop better and contribute to the national economy.
  1. Based on Law No.4 of 2023 concerning Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (PPSK) CHAPTER XXVI concerning Transitional Provisions, Second Part concerning Transitional Provisions related to Banking and Sharia Banking Article 314.
  2. Financial Services Authority Regulation No.7 of 2024 concerning People's Economic Banks and Sharia People's Economic Banks related to BPR Name Changes that must comply with statutory regulations.
